On the backdrop of the recent family suicide in Pune because of a belief in astrology based superstition about the unfavourable positions of Shani (Saturn) and Mangal (Mars), the Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti is organizing a talk by Dr Narendra Dabholkar at 6pm on 24 Jan 2012 at the Sane Guruji Hall, opposite Shaniwar Peth Police Chowki, Pune 411030. The talk will critically examine the basis of astrology as well as the various arguments given in it’s favour.
